Fortunately, Krizinne was placed on the waiting list for a new heart, yet a transplant date can not be pre-determined. She and her boys must move to Salt Lake City to be present and ready when a heart becomes available. She has been told that she will need $250,000 for the transplant operation and additional funds to pay for post-transplant medications for the rest of her life.

To help ease this financial burden, a fundraising campaign in Krizinne’s honor has been established with the National Transplant Assistance Fund (NTAF). NTAF is a nonprofit organization that has been assisting the transplant community for over 20 years. All tax-deductible contributions are administered by NTAF for transplant-related expenses only.
